I guess it's time to catch up on what I've been knitting! I suppose this shows that I prefer to knit than blog. At the beginning of December I was working on another Jean Greenhowe topsy-turnabout doll. I had so many other things going on that I decided to put it on hold and finish it in January for my daughter's birthday, instead of her daughter's birthday.
Now I remember why I don't really like to blog. I have a hard time getting my pictures to sit where I want them to sit. But it's okay. Someday I'll get it!
So I made this little turnabout bunny/duck for Elizabeth
I made a bunch of felted ornaments for my family! I made one for everyone with their names. And some for friends too!
Here are some very warm mitten/gloves for Mary. This is yarn from her trip to Rhode Island |
This was a fun scarf for Mary. |
My niece was so nice to show them off |
I made these cool wrist warmers for a friend who sews. So we traded and I did the warmers and she made a fleece outfit for my hubby! Turned out great! I also made a cute little llama for Dr. Dan. but I didn't get a picture of it.
This is Alexander's Lion! |
These are my son-in-law's mitten/gloves. Which starts me out for the year. I plan to make something like this for all my son's and son-in-laws this year. |
A dragon for Bradley |
The doll for Tina was next..
And a scarf too.. |
Now only 6 more projects to talk about
There are 3 kids birthdays in February so I did
A giraffe for Cathrine |
And another cowboy doll for Johnny! |
A cowboy doll for Jacob |
My daughter and I took a very awesome trip to the Oregon Coast during February! We had a marvelous time!
I could write tons about our trip! It was fabulous! While I was gone I did these gloves/mittens for my husband!
It worked great, because they were small and a nice easy stockinette stitch.
It was my birthday in February, so while I was gone I bought some yarn at Cannon Beach and made a very cute little bag!
